Well, it took a while for me to find some. I got a little sad because I thought I was going to be the only one not to find gold. Then eventually I found some.
We used a dolly pot ands a long metal pole to crush rocks. Then when it was really fine and turned into powder, you’d get a pan and put the dust in there and some water. Then start panning. You go back and forwards and the water swirls around taking off the light dirt.
It was like a yellow, well you can’t really describe the color. It was quite shining and comes in all sizes. If you see a speck, most times it’s not gold, but sometimes it is.
When I found mine I was like “Gold!”
