Our school is situated in the town of Gnowangerup, which is 350 kms south east of Perth, near the Stirling Ranges. Gnowangerup is the centre for the farms in the district and more recently, the site of a number of industries.

Gnowangerup District High School caters for students from Kindergarten through to Year 10. Our Early Childhood Centre for Kindergarten and Pre-primary children is on site and is fully compliant with National Quality Standards. Other facilities at our school include; a library resource centre, computer room, science lab, art room, music room, oval, basketball/tennis/netball courts and an undercover area. All secondary learning areas are fully catered for in the high school wing.

Our staff provide a comprehensive curriculum for our 135 students. The Aboriginal and Islander Education Workers, chaplain and teacher assistants all provide valuable assistance and community links.

Our primary & secondary students currently have access to specialist teachers in Music, Science, Digital Technology, Food & Textile Technology, Health & Physical Education, and Art.
