Staring our Day
This morning, we had breakfast in the dining room and then jumped on the bus to start our day.
Hannan Street Walk
It's always interesting to experience the main street of a new town. Paddy Hannan's statue is always a favourite.
Kalgoorlie Town Hall
At the town hall we have learnt about the start of the gold rush in Kalgoorlie.
The Town Hall hosted many concerts and debutante balls.
Dame Nellie Melba performed here in 1914 - she was aged 53 and undertook this strenuous tour of Australian remote towns covering 16,000km.
We also learnt about shire council proceedings in the Kalgoorlie Shire Chambers.
Back at the Camp School
We didn't make it to the Super Pit today, our bus driver wasn't well. We're booked to visit the Super Pit on Thursday afternoon (all being well).

So we played games at the Camp School for the afternoon.

Laundry all washed and folded by Mr Bailey!

Shades of red for dessert from Chef Alex.
Smores for supper!
